Free as in free beer?

Hi,

I just found out about the RCode IDE on Youtube and have not yet put much effort in investigating it. Generally it is great news if users have some choice for the best IDE and we all know you have one strong contender.

RCode’s website is lacking information on who the people behind it are, how they expect to make money out of it and whether we should expect RCode to cost money in the future.

Great! RCode is free and will remain free.

We sell other softwares, that are commercial, like RPGM: RPGM - PGM Solutions .

RCode is also used to develop RPGM applications: this is an additional feature in RCode that we sell with our RPGM software.

But RCode as an R IDE will always remain free.
